'Basking in the Valley of Midnight Convenience'

When given and opportunity to paint on something other than a flat birch panel I am ready to take it. When the Artificial Gallery was nice enough to include me in their skate deck themed show I quickly learned that drawing on a skate deck it ... well challenging. I used a charcoal pencil on the primed surface and crossed my brows trying to keep my lines within my lines.

While I can lament some lost battles in the line-work I do think this piece has some beautiful and spooky color work complimenting the lighting of an erie midnight valley. My silly little composition humors me as well.
