'The Forbidden Zone'

This "poster" was made for a theme show. I chose to work with Richard Elfman's "Forbidden Zone" for the cartoony feel of the film as well as my general love of it.

I started with a line drawing on illustration board and scanned it so I could compose the background and type in Photoshop. The characters from the film were completed in oil paint on a giclee print. Finally I built it into a box frame as I typically would do with any other painting.
